ICCO Pulsecheck: PR agencies Confident About Future
The International Communication Consultancy Organisation (ICCO) today released research showing the great majority of PR agency heads are confident about the future of their organisation.
400 agency heads were asked:
How confident do you feel about the future of your agency right now?

20% Very confident
36% Confident
30% Fairly confident
10% Not very confident
5% Unsure
Francis Ingham, ICCO Chief Executive commented: “When this crisis first hit, the majority of agency heads were very uncertain about the future of their companies. Today’s findings reveal a reversal of that sentiment. PR agencies have taken the decisions necessary to survive and to prosper in the future. The PR industry that emerges from this crisis will doubtless initially be smaller, but is set to resume growth in the very near future.”
Nitin Mantri, President of ICCO said: “While the survey findings are reassuring, they also point to the industry’s resilience and ability to successfully manage through crises. But our work is not done. When the pandemic finally ends, the world and our businesses will be very different. We must stay vigilant and continue to find creative ways to help our clients.”
