PRCA LATAM BECOMES ICCO MEMBER

International Communications Consultancy Organisation (ICCO) is pleased to announce that The Public Relations and Communications Association Latin America (PRCA LATAM) has become our member to help its members strengthen their global links.

The PRCA is the world’s largest PR professional body, representing over 35,000 practitioners in 66 countries. PRCA LATAM launched in 2020 with the intention of creating a global network of business opportunities, unparalleled professional development facilities, industry data, networking, and the sharing of global best practice.

ICCO is the voice of PR consultancies around the world and works to raise standards of quality, address ethical issues, harmonise professional PR consultancy practice, and share knowledge. ICCO membership comprises of 41 national trade associations representing 66 countries across the globe: from Europe, Africa, Asia, the Middle East, the Americas, and Australasia. Collectively, these associations represent over 3,000 PR firms.

ICCO President, Nitin Mantri, said: “I am thrilled to welcome PRCA LATAM to ICCO.  This association will open the doors to significant business opportunities and present ample scope for sharing of best practice and knowledge, which is critical in these tough times. PR firms will not mange through this crisis if they work in silos. They must engage, exchange data and collaborate with one another to creatively reshape and align their communications strategies with emerging priorities of brands. I feel reassured knowing that the combined knowledge and resources of PRCA LATAM and ICCO will give thousands of PR practitioners the requisite tools to address the current challenges and come out stronger, and hopefully, better.”

Isobel Arrowsmith MPRCA, Director, PRCA LATAM, said: “ICCO’s work has shaped the global industry for many years through its work on thought leadership and forging connections. Being part of a global network is of the utmost importance and I look forward to PRCA LATAM members benefiting from this new alliance.”
